Our 3rd Annual Music Festival in June 2016 commenced with the St. Nicholas’ Singers – community choir singing some more beautiful music from our favourite composers – Bach’s ‘Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring‘, Charpentier’s ‘Messe de Minuit’, Mozart’s ‘Ave Verum’, and closing with Hammerstein’s ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ and other anthems.
Other choirs, including the St. Nicholas’ School Choir and Merchant Taylors Girls’ School, contributed to the week-long festival. A finale of RSCM choirs sang Faure’s Requiem on the last night.
