Visit Us

We welcome all visitors to our church, whether to worship with us, or because you are interested in local history and would like to come and see the church to enjoy its heritage.  Thanks to the latest restoration programme being complete, we are now opening up the church to the community on an extended and regular basis.

We are less than 5 minutes walk from Blundellsands & Crosby Station, near to the Antony Gormley’s Iron Men ‘In Another Place’.  There is parking for around 12 cars within the church grounds, including one disabled parking bay for Blue Badge Holders.  Cycle racks are available on the south side of church, thanks to a grant from Mersey-travel.

HERITAGE TOURS:  We apologise, but our Heritage Tours are being suspended during the coronovirus crisis.

To arrange a group booking, please email: stnicholasblundellsands@outlook.com

Other church opening times for the public: In addition to Heritage Tours opening times, the church building is available to view by visitors on the following days and times:

  • Mon- Fri 7.00am – 9.00am – by ringing the hall bell in Harlech Road when the caretaker is working.
  • Mon – Fri 9.30am – 11.30am – by ringing the bell on the signed entrance at the side of church (near cycle rack), when the  Parish Administrator is in the Church Office.
  • Wednesdays 9.00 – 10am – drop into church for a cuppa and chat.
  • One Saturday each month between 9.00am and 12.00 noon, when members of the Men’s Working Party are carrying out maintenance tasks in church and the hall.  These Saturdays may vary due to weddings and other hall bookings.
