St. Nicholas’ Church has become well-known for its Annual Music Festivals, which commenced in 2010/2012. Covid sadly meant that in 2020 and 2021 we were not able to put on a festival, but were are back in the summer of 2022! The church is blessed with having a renowned Norman & Beard organ, together with a musical tradition going back many years. So many ensembles, orchestras and choirs have performed at St. Nicholas’ over the years The week’s Music Festival is now featuring as a regular event for both locals and people further away. In 2019 we coupled with the newly launched ‘Heritage’ side of our church to show off, not only its musical attributes, but its architectural ones too. Following Covid, the 2022 Festival returned with a wonderful mix of local talent. The 2023 Music Festival promises to be another line-up of local talent.
